springoflife | II. [video/action]

[The video starts with a bird's eye view of Ecruteak City, mostly its two towers showered in the late October sunlight. It remains that way for a moment, presenting the network with a beautiful landscape before turning down and nose-diving closer to the ground a few minutes later.

It stops several feet above a girl in white dress sitting on a bench there. She's holding a sketchbook in her hand and appears to be busy drawing something, not paying attention to the camera (and (most likely) Pokémon holding it). There's also a Ralts sitting next to her, peeking curiously over her trainer's arm, but trying to avoid her noticing that. She wouldn't want mistress to get mad, after all.

Finally, Chidori stops drawing and looks up at the tower in front of her.]

... This is how it must have looked like... many years ago. [She makes a pause, studying her picture.] Three creatures have perished back then... but perhaps this world is capable of awaking them once again?

[Feeling light tugging on her sleeve, she turns to the Ralts.]

You wish to see my drawing, Medea? [The Pokémon nods sheepishly.] ... Fine. [Chidori shows her the sketchbook, thus revealing it to the camera:]

[She seems as she's finally noticed the Gear, however, as she stares right into the camera now.] ... Poisma, put that away.

[There's a loud screech that some may recognize as a Zubat's voice before the feed is cut off.]

[ Minato watches this all quietly, not turning on his own video feed until he's sure it's all off. That image alone...it's definitely interesting. ]

[If he thinks she's magically stopped being angry with him just because "they have no reason to be enemies anymore" or something, then he's wrong.]

[ He still expected nothing less, but Minato's a stubborn boy when he can be. You can't break down a wall without getting hit by a few rocks, after all. ]

[... He's just not going to leave her alone, is he? Fine, be that way. For now.]

HEY CHIDORI! [Billy yells to get the girls attention. Normally he'd be doing a bit more like jumping around and waving his arms. However he didn't want to break what's in his arms, which was a black egg. ]

[Her brows come together in an unamused frown at the sound of her name being shouted. But. He probably brought her what she requested, so she'll have to deal with his presence.]

Billy.

... You're loud.

[His smile turns a sheepish, when he walks over to her.]

Oops was I too loud, I wanted your attention. I'm sorry [He still learning that being loud doesn't work in every situation.]

[To Chidori, any person speaking to her is way too loud. Regardless, she ignores the question, wanting to get over this unwanted socializing as soon as possible.]

Correct. [She makes a pause, focusing her gaze on the said tower.] ... That's what I've been told. ["That" being the legend, of course.]

Yeah, I heard about it too. There's people in that town who'll tell the story to anyone they can catch and get to listen. [He sounds a bit annoyed at the memory of this. He did not care to hear that story so many times.]

...was that the bird on fire in the corner?

Waaaah... That's pretty good! Although, I think you try drawing more happier things.

Is that so? [She looks down at the sketchbook.]

... I still don't understand my drawings very well.

Eh? How can you not understand what you're drawing? Isn't an artist supposed to know how they're feeling whenever they put their emotions on paper?

...

You said you understand yourself, didn't you? That you know how to "be yourself".

[She makes a pause, taking her time to study the picture in her hands.]

... I can't do that. My feelings and myself... I don't really understand them.
